Simulation
Systems-driven games where players build, manage, and optimize — from city grids to tiny ecosystems that keep ticking whether you're watching or not.
New independent game studio — Austin, TX
GameDen Studio is a newly founded team building across simulation, hypercasual, casual, idle, and arcade genres for mobile and PC — zero publishers telling us what to cut.
What we're building
We're not locked into one category yet — we're prototyping across genres to find where our team's instincts are sharpest, then doubling down.
Systems-driven games where players build, manage, and optimize — from city grids to tiny ecosystems that keep ticking whether you're watching or not.
One mechanic, one screen, zero friction — games built to click in the first five seconds and respect the player's time after that.
Approachable games with just enough depth to pull someone back for five minutes between meetings, every day, for months.
Numbers that keep climbing while the screen is off, and just enough to tap, upgrade, and prestige when you're back.
Fast reflexes, short runs, and a high score worth texting a friend about.
How we work
GameDen is staying six people on purpose while we build our first game — big enough to finish it, small enough that every decision still gets made by the people who have to live with it.
We're bootstrapping our first title ourselves. No publisher milestones, no forced release dates.
Crunch produces buggy games and burnt-out people. We ship later and leave with our teams intact.
The whole studio works on a single title until it's done, then takes a real break before starting the next.
