Privacy Policy

1. Overview
GameDen Studio ("GameDen," "we," "us") develops mobile and PC games across the simulation, hypercasual, casual, idle, and arcade genres. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, play our games, or contact us, and what choices you have about it. By using our website or games, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- You give it to us directly — account email, display name, and message contents when you contact support, apply for a job, or sign up for a wishlist or newsletter.
- Automatically, through gameplay — session length, level progress, crash logs, device type, OS version, and approximate region (derived from IP, not stored as a precise location).
- From platforms you connect — if you link a Steam, PlayStation Network, Xbox, or Google Play account, we receive the public profile data and achievement data those platforms share with developers under their own policies.
3. How we use it
We use collected information to:
- Operate core gameplay — save progress, sync achievements, and keep multiplayer sessions in sync.
- Diagnose crashes and performance issues, so we can ship patches that target real failures.
- Understand which parts of a game people actually finish, to guide design decisions on future updates.
- Respond to support requests and job applications.
- Send wishlist and release announcements, only to people who opted in, with an unsubscribe link in every email.
We do not sell gameplay data or personal information to data brokers or advertisers.
4. In-game purchases
Where a GameDen title offers optional purchases (cosmetic items or expansions), payment is processed entirely by the platform store — Steam, the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, the Apple App Store, or Google Play. We never see or store your card number, billing address, or other payment details; we only receive confirmation that a purchase was completed, tied to your platform account ID.
5. Cookies & analytics
Our website uses a small number of essential cookies to remember your cookie preference and keep the site functional. With your consent, we also use privacy-focused analytics (page views and referral source only — no cross-site tracking, no ad identifiers) to understand which pages are useful. You can decline analytics cookies and the site will work identically.
6. Third-party services
We rely on a small set of vendors to run our games and studio, each bound by their own data processing terms:
- Crash & telemetry: an SDK embedded in our games that reports stack traces and anonymized play metrics.
- Storefronts: Steam, PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, the App Store, and Google Play, which handle accounts and purchases on their platforms.
- Email: a mailing-list provider used only for opted-in wishlist and release announcements.

Save data and achievement progress are kept for as long as your platform account remains linked. Crash logs are retained for 18 months for debugging, then deleted. Support correspondence is kept for 3 years for quality and training purposes, then deleted or anonymized.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below — we respond to verified requests within 30 days.

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and regular dependency audits — to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we encourage using a unique password for your platform accounts.

We'll update the date at the top of this page whenever this policy changes, and for material changes we'll post a notice on our website homepage for at least 30 days.
